Repoussé business theme release

We are pleased to announce the release of our new business theme, Repoussé.
It’s a very clean and professional theme created with the user in mind. If you want to have a great looking website for your business, with this theme you can be up and running in a matter of minutes.

In the front page there’s a slider that displays the 3 latest posts from a category of your selection. Below that you can select to have your latest posts or a static page like in our demo. The theme comes with two widget locations, the one below the content in the front page and the right sidebar.

There’s also an optional footer menu and many other small features. The theme comes as always with detailed documentation and we are more than happy to help in our forum if you get stuck with anything.

ViVA Showcase launched

We never rest at Viva themes. When not designing or developing you can find us helping in our support forums or trying to make our themes and your experience better.

It is not uncommon that many of our visitors or clients ask us to see websites built using one of our themes, for inspiration or functionality purposes. We already provide with links and have posted in our blog once in a while showcasing the flexibility and ease of customization of our themes.

However looks like time has come that we launch our general showcase. In that regard we have decided, for no particular reason besides the attractive name, to use another domain http://www.vivashowcase.com/. Here we have quickly setup a website where you can look at our themes in action. In the very simple menu you can select websites for a specific theme or view the latest entries.

In the next days we will also setup a form where you can submit your own websites built with our themes. Thanks again for using one of our themes for your next project

Kimbo theme released

The Kimbo theme was designed even before WordPress 3.0 was out but we decided to wait and release it after updating the rest of the themes.

The theme has a clean minimalistic style, but as with most of our other themes it’s the functionality that matters. It is very easy to to setup the theme and customize it to your liking. In the front page there’s a featured category slider which is managed from the theme panel. You can select which is the category you want to feature or how many posts from that category you want to include in the slider and also manage other features like sliding effect, speed or delay from the theme panel.

Besides that, in the front page you can select to have a static page, to make it more business like if it’s a company website that you want to build, or have the latest posts.
One of the other important features of this theme is the inclusion of a portfolio category template which makes it extremely easy for you to create a portfolio or product showcase by simply creating posts and uploading the featured images (thumbnails) in each post. To give a bit more importance to the portfolio we have included also a featured portfolio section in the sidebar, which is managed and can also be disabled from the theme panel.

We have updated four other themes from our collection in order to include the new features introduced in WP 3.0.
